Send mails – select email address it comes from

Hi Franky,

Is there a way on the Send Mails functionality to specify the email address the email comes from?

We have another group who would like to use the plugin on our site – they want to be able to send emails from the Send Mails section for their event but for the emails to come from their own email address, rather than the default one in the settings.

Is this possible please?

Sorry, but that’s currently not possible in EME. While I get the question, it would result in a lot of extra code for this (since the address needs to be tested, and what if you need to use e.g. authenticated smtp?). So for now, this is a no-go.
