Recurring events with different times

I want to offer weekend courses from friday to sunday
Problem is: there are different start- and end times each day:
friday: 19:30 – 21:30
saturday: 11:00 – 18:00
sunday: 11: – 16:00

When I create the series all dates have equal times. As soon as I change the schedule of a day, the day drops out of the series of recurring events 🙁

Is there something I can do to have recurring events with different times?

Different times is an almost impossible thing to do (not even MS exchange/outlook allows you to do that), I would need to figure out how to even be able to enter that in the interface …
For now, I’d suggest to work with linked events, where each event stands on its own and the “linked” part is in the RSVP settings where in fact the linked event is taken for all rsvp actions.
Another method is working with categories maybe …
