InactiveAfter I click an event it shows an error message saying page not found. I’ve tried to create a new event but still nothing. Any help would be great. Thanks again. If someone wants to see what it looks like just email me and I’ll send you a screenshot. Mattbontrager2@gmail.com

KeymasterSee if the usage info on this page helps you:

Also, when changing the mentioned special events page and using Permalinks, you need to disable/re-enable the generic wordpress permalink settings (set them to default, press “save” and set them back the way they were and press “save”).

InactiveHi there Franky, I think I deleted the page I think it is referring too. How can I get that back? I deleted EME then re-uploaded it and it saved my events but it’s still showing the error message. Also, what is permalinks? And, I’m really new at this still so all of these short codes you speak of…can I place those wherever? Like a separate page I make, WordPress just knows the code is part of EME and it all works together? Thanks so much for the help. I think EME is the best for what I’m trying to accomplish.

KeymasterThe create a new page and set that page in the settings.
Concerning permalinks: read the standard wordpress doc.
Concerning shortcodes: as the usage page says: yes, you can put the shortcode examples on a regular page and WP will do the rest.

InactiveOk I made a new page called “Events”, then went to the EME setting and under the “Events Page” drop down I set that page as selected. Now when I go to my site, the Event page shows my events that I’ve created but when I click on them they still get the error message. Anything else I can do?

KeymasterWithout a real-life example, there’s only so much I can tell.
As said: try the permalinks thing I mentioned.

KeymasterOr just deactivate and reactivate the eme plugin, that also forces the wordpress permalink rules to be regenerated.
