Is there any way to use HTML in the “Single event page title format” box and have the code render out on the page (I’ve got <?php wp_title(); ?> in the body of my page as part of a breadcrumb)…BUT without the actual HTML code appearing in the title bar of the browser?
nope, but you can use the available filters to achieve what you want:
