how to let even attendees edit their booking?

hello
thanks for creating such a great plugin
I have pretty much done creating everything I wanted except the option to allow event attendees to change their booking. for example, they register for 3 seats and now they want to change it to 4 or add a comment.
how could this be done? because in the user’s registered event page, there is only a cancel event button.
I am very much hoping to be able to enable an edit option. because canceling and re-registering is not easy for my users, especially the older ones

This is not possible due to several possible issues:

– what if the event is already full
– what if they already paid for 3 seats and then change to 4
– what if a discount based on number of seats was applied, or early bird discounts
– probably others

So no: bookings can’t be changed by the booker once made
