Events Made Easy › Forums › Tips › Custom format with additional p tags
Tagged: bug, entry_list, format
Hi,
I’m using the option to define a custom format in the events list:
<ul class='eme_events_list'>[events_list limit="3" format="<li>#j.#n.#Y, #H:#i - #_LINKEDNAME</li>"]</ul>
In the output, a p tag (<p>
) is added after each entry. This destroys the code and the formatting of the page (maybe not “destroys” but “uglifies”)
Is this intended, does that behaviour come from the eme plugin or from wordpress? Or am I simply doing something wrong?
You can see the effect on http://www.ekkart.de/schiri/
Regards and thanks,
Ekkart.
BTW: if one used a custom format, one has to add the ul tags manually, this should be mentioned in the documentation.
This is for me a HUGE wordpress bug: it adds p-tags when it shouldn’t be doing that at all.
Google for “wordpress adds paragraph tag” to see some more people having this issue.
This plugin fixed this for me:
Hi Franky,
thank you for your response and sorry for bothering you with a wordpress issue. You are right, this is a huge bug.
Thanks again, greetings,
Ekkart.
