Changes to eme-de_DE.po not displayed

Thanks for this great plugin in the first place.

I changed the following lines in the file eme-de_DE.po in order to finetune the German text that is displayed after event bookings are automatically disabled x days before the event:

#: eme_rsvp.php:34

#: eme_rsvp.php:123

msgid “Bookings no longer allowed on this date.”

msgstr “Der Vorverkauf für diese Veranstaltung ist abgeschlossen. Weitere Karten erhalten Sie an der Abendkasse.”

Unfortunately the new msgstr is not displayed instead of the default translation. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks for any input.

Language files need to be compiled after editing (using eg. poedit), creating a .mo file. That’s the file being used.
