Hi Franky,

when the user makes an error in the input, an error message is displayed. In the standart fields, the entry is not deleted, but all custom fields the input will reset.

Can you change that?

Or there are reasons why the field contents will be deleted.

ok that was a misunderstanding.

Where and how did you get and install the dev version?

I have downloaded the version of your wp.org-page.

unzip on my computer

In the WP eme-plugin disabled and copies the files with filezilla in the plugin directory (/WordPress/wp-content/plugins) and then re-enabled the plugin.

All ok!

The fault lies with me.

In the first try I have the prev files only overwritten. This did not work, for whatever reason.

At the 2nd Attempt I deleted the whole directory.

Now it works perfectly.
