backslashes disappear

Hi there,

I’ve got a major problem with the implementation of the Events Manager Extended Plugin for wordpress (3.1.0). When the plugin is activiated, written backslashes do disappear in posts when they are saved/published.

For example something like

C:\WindowsExample

is changed to

C:WindowsExample

Everything works fine again when I deactivate the plugin. Is there a way to fix this? I’d really like to use the plugin on our internal work blog. But this way no one can use links to internal documents on our servers. And I didn’t come up with anyone writing about this problem on the internet before.
