Franky,
I am now opening up my events to a new role I’ve created and am trying to find a way for the editors/admin to ‘feature’ certain events.
Previously I was using a ‘featured’ category which worked well but I need to find a way to prevent normal users assigning that category.
Can you suggest anything to get around that?

sorry, for the moment I can’t think of anything. Maybe normal users entering the events should only be able to add the event in draft (already possible) so an editor can verify it later on.
