I would need to have a link on my event page so that I can display all bookings for the event, but I would like this to be on a new page. I can use the [eme_bookings id=#_EVENTID] but that adds the list of bookings to the current page (which then gets too long to be user friendly).
Is there a way to create a link from the event page, so that #_EVENTID is passed to the page that shows the bookings?
Sorry, but not possible. You could enclose the #_BOOKINGS (or [eme_bookings id=#_EVENTID]) in a closed div and foresee an icon to open it (like I do in the admin interface for the import-icon).
