InactivePlease assist. Trying to migrate from old site to new WP, found event add-in, evaluating, great, looks like it can assist for what I need to do. However, I am not a web developer (no java, php, asp experience), so feeling kinda helpless.
I have registered an event and I want to make a booking, shows my calendar with clickable event but when I click on the event it says “Not all required fields are present in the booking form”?
1. I have no clue where to enable the event booking form?
2. Is there a dummy guide?
3. Can I use this add-in without any php experience or will I need to get someone to do this for me?
Many Thanks,
Brendan

KeymasterYou don’t need php experience, but some html knowledge might help.
Concerning “the dummy guide”: http://www.e-dynamics.be/bbpress/topic.php?id=2144
In your case: when showing a single event, the “single event format” setting is being used (either the global one or per event). There you need to use placeholders to show event info, see http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=25
In your case, you’ll need to add the placeholder #_ADDBOOKINGFORM somewhere in your single event setting.

Inactive2 Questions.
Please help.
1. How does one restrict an event to a group of users or specific user?
2. One the day of the event, one wants to register attendees, so call up registration and mark people as attended or present. Can this be done in the EME?

Keymaster1: you can put events as “private”, or create a filter for that event (filter is called “
eme_event_filter”). See http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=41
2: EME currently doesn’t do this. Feel free to create a feature request for this.

This is an awesome add-in. I can’t believe you opened this free with all thee features. I was looking for someone to develop this, for free off-course, no cash. Great man. Really going to help me put all this together to have a really pro site. Still struggling through but hope to be posting/go-live in the next two weeks. Will definitely have to buy you some coffees. How much is a coffee in wherever you are?
