    I have the events list widget added to the sidebar.

    My problem is that the background colour of the events is inheriting a the colour from elsewhere in the theme. I’ve crawled through the CSS file but can’t find what tag i need to edit to prevent this.

    I’m building the site locally, so I can’t link you directly but I have supplied a screenshot.

    Any help or just pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

    with a screenshot it’s very difficult, but I recommend to use firebug in firefox, it can immediately show which CSS is doing it.
