InactiveThis plugin is nearly perfect for our needs – but is there anyway of making a custom payment confirmation page? After buying via PayPal, PayPal redirects to the event page with no feedback that the purchase was successful.
I also guess that PayPal payment confirmation is manual?
Thanks in advance

KeymasterWhat do you mean with paypal confirmation? You have reservation confirmation, but that’s optional. For the paypal payment successful or not page/message: moving to feature requests.

InactiveIn the “Pending Approvals” page there is a Yes/No drop down for “Paid”. Is this meant to be automatically updated with a successful PayPal payment? or is it up to the admin to do?
Thanks for your help so far anyhow

KeymasterThis should be done automatically if the paypal payment was successful.

InactiveI tested it by using a live PayPal account to buy access to an event, but it didn’t update the paid status or send out any confirmation email – even though the payment was successful.
Is there any other config to do? other than the PayPal email address.
Many thanks and I’ll donate something for your help!

KeymasterI’ll test this out this evening again using my paypal sandbox.

InactiveIs this automatic payment confirmation status working?
On a related note, is there any way to distinguish between REQUESTED seats and actually approved/booked/paid seats? All I see is #_BOOKEDSEATS and that doesn’t seem to care if the seats are confirmed or not (even though I specified “require approval for registration” on the event).

Keymaster#_BOOKEDSEATS is what it says: seats booked, whether approved or not. Mostly used in mails, so if it for approval, you can change the content of the mails being sent.

InactiveOkay, I was using BOOKEDSEATS on the event page too. (In my opinion it would be helpful to have a CONFIRMEDSEATS or PAIDSEATS feature code.)
But my bigger question here is whether the PayPal payments are supposed to be reflected back in the Events control panel. “tomp” above said it didn’t work, and I haven’t completed any payments myself. Edit: Oh, I see you answered that separately — thank you!
