InactiveI like Events Manager Extended a lot, and I’m using it in combination with qTranslate on my site http://schlaue-spiele.com.
Now the RSVP feature would be very conveient too, *but* I cannot seem to get it to work with qTranslate. More precisely, I want to send out English or German confirmation e-mails, depending on the language of the current user. Apparently — but I am by no means sure — the e-mails are not passed “through” qTranslate processing before being sent.
I’ve tried using both qTranslate shortcodes and the long HTML comment syntax, without success.
Of course, it would be best to have the modified qTranslate editing boxes for the mails as well.
Am I doing something wrong? Is this a known limitation? One that will be removed in future releases? 🙂
Cheers
Hasko

Keymasterindeed, they don’t pass qtranslate calls. But this should be reasonably easy to fix …

InactiveThanks!!! Works like a charm.
Well, almost. One problem seems to be left: The RSVP emails containg the event name in the subject. In the subject line however, qTranslate syntax doesn’t seem to be processed.
The e-mail body works perfect now though. Good work.

InactiveHello!
I like Events Made Easy Plug-in, too.
But this bug hasn’t fixed yet? Und do you have any plan to fix this.
Automatic emails from my website has still a strange subject.
Best Regards,
Yoko

KeymasterAccording to my knowledge this should work ok with qtranslate. Is this not the case?

InactiveThank for the solution of the email body integrate with qtranslate! works perfect!
But just like Yoko the subject has the following format: New booking for ‘<!–:es–>Spanish subject<!–:–><!–:en–>English subject<!–:–><!–:de–>German subject<!–:–>’
Is there something to be done?
Regards
Nikoline

KeymasterIf you also have this bug, then I need to double-check the code. Moving to bugs again.
